 Metallic Vase |
It took
a lot of time to develop this highly unusual metallic glaze. This
type of glaze is rare, and we have only seen one similar to it done
by an Australian potter. It is unique to our work, and is not the
kind of surface you can easily find anywhere else.
This glaze requires careful control during the firing to achieve this surface quality. While the color is quite similar from firing to firing, the crystalline pattern remains unique to each piece. Semi-porcelain clay, fired in an oxidizing atmosphere to 2425°F (1310°C). Contact us if you have any specific vase needs. We do other custom sized vases, just let us know your particular needs. |
