This vase has two different cobalt glazes on it. The top half is modified
with a small amount of tin and the bottom half has a small percentage
of chrome oxide added. It is fired to 2425°F (1310°C). This is
a Stoneware clay, fired in a slightly reducing atmosphere. Orders taken
if this one is sold. Though no two pieces will fire out exactly the same,
this glaze is very similar from firing to firing. |
