Steven & Bonnie with Michael Cardew at Big Creek Pottery in Davenport,California 1976. After his travels, Steven moved to the area to start a pottery, and met Bruce & Marcia McDougal the owners of Big Creek. After learning of Steven's stay with Michael, they asked if he thought Mr. Cardew would be interested to give a workshop at Big Creek. After a positive reply to Steven's letter, it was all set up.
