This vase
is another fine example of the RGB glaze, and shows how the fire affects
the glaze. You can see how different it is from the Taroko Vase, also
featured in this Gifts From the Kiln Gallery. This piece is a gift
of the kiln. It is unique and unlikely to be reproduced again. Fired
to 2425°F (1310°C). Stoneware clay, fired in a highly reducing atmosphere.

We make vases primarily with this glaze. Some are small, and some are large,but no two are alike! No two pieces will fire out exactly the same! This glaze is very difficult to reproduce from firing to firing. Buy it while it is still available ! Contact us if you have any specific vase needs.
