Iron Ware Gallery - Black Square Bowl

This is a fine example of our black glaze. It is acheived with iron oxide along with a couple of other strong colors. This bowl is Stoneware, fired in a lightly reducing atmosphere to 2425°F (1310°C), . All glazes in this gallery are food safe and Do Not contain lead or other toxic heavy metals. May be baked in and is Microwave safe.

Orders taken if this one is sold. Though no two pieces will fire out exactly the same, this glaze is very similar from firing to firing.
