My wife and I met Steven and Bonnie Barisof in 1982 during a post-honeymoon visit to Santa Cruz. We commissioned them to make a dinnerware set, which we still use today. Over the past 43 years we have purchased many unique serving dishes, vases, and other art pieces for ourselves and as gifts. The Barisofs have shipped items to us and we also enjoy visiting them to chat and buy more ceramic art.

My wife and I have bought Barisof pottery during the holiday season both as gifts and for ourselves.   The pottery is beautiful and very utilitarian. I have my coffee and my breakfast cereal in it many mornings. Also the large bowls are strikingly good looking. There are various colors; I like the brown and blue. The gifts have been received with enthusiastic appreciation. The prices are reasonable too! Take a look; you’ll be impressed!

We've known the Barisof's for years. They are not only good, kind people, but fantastic potters! Even though we own a LOT of Barisof pottery, we find ourselves always wanting more. We often buy their pottery to give as wedding and birthday presents.
